Joanna Ayala, D.M.D. - Pediatric Dentist
Board Certified Specialist
Dr. Ayala was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She earned her Associates of Science degree from Blinn College in Brenham, TX and her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She continued her studies by receiving her dental degree from Boston University where she served as Class President and graduated Cum Laude. With her passion for children, Dr. Ayala continued her education at Miami Children’s Hospital and earned her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry. Her training included many aspects of pediatric dentistry to include sedation and hospital dentistry. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Ayala is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Dental Association. Her practice is limited to infants, toddlers, children and adolescents. Dr. Ayala will provide excellence service in all aspects of pediatric dentistry in a caring, professional and personal manner.
Yvonne A. Felli, DMD - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Yvonne A. Felli (nee Horgli) completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at University of Texas Health at San Antonio. During her training she specialized in various aspects of pediatric dentistry including special needs, conscious sedation, and operating room dentistry.
Prior to completing her residency Dr. Felli obtained her first dental degree from the University of Ghana Dental School, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She then went on to obtain her second dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine where she was awarded a Doctor of Dental Medicine, graduated with honors and received an award for academic and clinical excellence.
Dr. Felli was born and raised in Ghana and is fluent in over four languages. She is married to her husband of eight years and they have two rambunctious but wonderful boys. She volunteers as a Sunday school teacher at her church and supports efforts to develop and sustain oral health awareness both locally in south Texas and internationally. She enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends in her leisure hours.
Dr. Felli is a knowledgeable and talented clinician who excelled in all aspects of dentistry but her passion for children and preventive dentistry led her to the field of pediatric dentistry. She is soon to be board certified. She always looks forward to making children and their parents comfortable, and delights in promoting great oral hygiene through education and excellent dental visits.
Adam Bahr, DDS - Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Bahr was raised in Bountiful in a gigantic family, the youngest of 15 children. After high school he lived in south Texas for two years and fell in love with Texas, the food and Spanish. While living in Texas he decided he wanted to be a dentist! He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2011 with a BA in Spanish. Before dental school, he worked for a year in an elementary school working with children learning English as a second language. He loves working with kids! He graduated from The University of Iowa with his DDS in 2016. While in dental school he served as class president, vice president of IASDA, the dental school student government, and president of the local student chapter of the Hispanic Dental Association. He completed an externship during dental school in Granada, Spain. He continued his training in Alaska working with Alaska Natives and received his specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry through NYU Langone. He loves exploring the outdoors with his wife, Corrie, and his family. Dr. Bahr misses the mountains and snow of Alaska and Utah, but is excited about the great food here in Texas. His son Maxwell is excited to be a big brother soon. Dr. Bahr loves meeting the families and kids in the office. Outside the office, he loves sports and spending time with family.
Timothy King, DDS - Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. King was raised in a military family, moving multiple times in his childhood and young adulthood but eventually his family settled in Chantilly, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia, graduating with a BA in Biology, and then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond, Virginia.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. King entered the Army and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Ft. Benning, GA. Following this training, he served as the Division Dental Surgeon of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.
In 1988, Dr. King was selected to attend the orthodontic residency at Ft. Meade, Maryland graduating in 1990. He then served in various assignments across the globe, providing orthodontic care to military beneficiaries. In 1997 Dr. King achieved board certification becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Improving the smiles of patients at Tots to Teens Orthodontics in Laredo is what motivates Dr. King in the field of orthodontics. His ultimate goal is to help patients achieve a smile that inspires confidence and pride.
Dr. King is married to his wife Joan, an Army Nurse, and they love to travel and golf with friends. They are involved in their communities and continue to support military members and their families.
